Exciting Dream #3 and a Theory
Dreams are necessary to life. — Anaïs Nin
In real life, I’ve been waiting on some packages to arrive. I dreamed they arrived. At the same time. One was even early. That’s how I knew it was a dream.
I’m pretty sure that I’d be the hardest person to Inception ever. If anything–anything–out of the ordinary happened, my subconscious would be all over it like a tween on a Bieber.
Some dream researchers have theorized that dreams are part of “threat rehearsal” where you/your body chemistry practices responses to various threats. Apparently my brain knows that in case of a tiger attack, my fat ass is a kitty snack, so why bother rehearsing? Let’s practice opening to door to the FedEx man instead.
